Time Line

The time line was developed using information from the "Fort Collins Early History Calendar, 1994" created by Cheryl Miller, Fort Collins resident. The time line is an ongoing project which will include new information as it is submitted by Users.

Time lines are available in three formats:

The Fort Collins Museum provides a Time Line in text format. This option loads very quickly and does not require additional decisions.

The interactive database version of the time line uses frames to display selected time lines. The user can then request more detail, including photographs and maps, on selected subjects while simultaneously using the time line. This option provides many functions and works best at screen resolutions of greater than (800x600) pixels.

The "frameless" database version allows the user to select time periods and subjects/themes to build a specific text time line using the full browser screen. Each timebit of information in the time line links to additional information on people and places in the archive database. This version is recommended for printing time lines, low resolution browsers, and browsers which do not support frames.
