E. H. Trimble

In the hustle and rush of modern life there is a need of places of amusement and recreation as is afforded by such establishments as that of Mr. Trimble, who has a billiard parlor at No. 132 North College avenue, containing six of the finest tables in the city. Mr. Trimble hails from Missouri, but he has been thirty years in the city. His place is exceptionally well conducted and is the most popular resort of its kind in Fort Collins. He is a man of pleasing address, candid, and intelligent, and well qualified to bring to success any enterprise in which he might embark. He takes a deep interest in the affairs of the city and, like many other of our wide-awake citizens, is strongly in favor of agitating for another railroad to and from the city.

West Brothers

This firm deal exclusively in ladies' furnishings and have a commodious store at No. 136 North College avenue. Their store is beautifully arranged and in the display of their merchandise there is shown good taste, resulting in fine effect. The firm carry a complete line of ladies' furnishings, including cloaks, suits, skirts, furs, waists, underwear, hosiery and notions. Aided by capable assistants they do a large business and are known as honest merchants. They have been in business for about two years and their career has been marked by steady growth and prosperity. The partners are Mr. C. A. West, a member of the K. P.'s and Maccabees, and Mr. J. A. West, his brother, who is affiliated with the U. C. T. and W. O. W. Both hail from Kentucky and are young, hustling and enterprising merchants, and also highly respected and loyal citizens.
