First National Bank

The First National Bank of Fort Collins has the indisputable distinction of being one of the safest, best managed and most ably conducted financial institutions in the state. The bank is situated at the corner of Linden street and Mountain avenue, and was established nearly 25 years ago. The premise are plemished with elegant furniture and fine fixtures, and are provided with safety vaults and all other conveniences appropriate to a first-class banking institution. The bank has a large city and country patronage, and has resources in capital, surplus, etc. amounting to over $150,000.

The officers are Mr. F. C. Avery, president; Mr. C. R. Welch, vice-president and Mr. E. D. Avery, cashier, all prominent and highly esteemed in business and social circles and influential and public-spirited citizens. The directorate includes, in addition to the said officers, Messrs. W. B. Minor, F. R. Baker, F. N. B. Scott, J. W. Bennett, L. C. Moore, W. A. Drake and A. C. Kluver, all men of sterling character, business ability, means and enterprise, who are leading merchants, capitalists and citizens.
