Dramatic Club 1927 - 1928

Spring

"With the spring tour, the C.A.C. Dramatic Club will close its sixteenth year of existence on the Aggie Campus. The membership of the club is limited to thirty-five. In order to gain membership, the student applying must pass two tryouts before members of the club. Each member is expected to work and give his best in promotion of the club's success. The Aggie students are given an opportunity at two occasions, once each semester, to try out, and at each tryout competition is keen.

The Dramatic Club has been a member of the Drama League of America for the past fifteen years and is associated with The Little Theatre Arts, a national organization including only twenty-six members.

This organization is the oldest active and living club on the campus and holds the dramatic field alone... Real progress has been made by the C.A.C. Dramatic Club during the past year in the presentation of three long plays, a one-act, and in making a two-week tour during the spring vacation and the week following." -- Silver Spruce, 1929
