The directors, officers, stockholders and personnel of the The Poudre Valley National Bank of Fort Collins welcome you to our new home. As friends and patrons of the Bank, you have realized as we have that our old quarters were inadequate, and not in keeping with our growth or service to you. On several occasions in the Bank's history we have moved to larger and better quarters in order to better serve the community, and now, at the beginning of our 75th year of banking in Fort Collins, it is with a feeling of gratification that the Poudre Valley National Bank formally opens the doors of a completely remodeled building.

The bank was first opened for business in a rented building on Jefferson Street on November 9, 1878, as a private banking institution under the name of the Poudre Valley Bank and consisted of a partnership of the late W.C. Stover and Charles H. Sheldon.
