Photographic Collection Use Fees

Photographs from the Fort Collins Museum Archive's Collections are not loaned for any purpose and photographs of the collections may not be taken. Copies of photographs, unless restricted, are available for purchase. Permission is granted for one-time use only; any subsequent use requires written permission and possibly payment of additional fees. The photographs may not be enhanced by computer digital imaging or otherwise altered or modified in any way without written permission. The enhanced photographs may not be used for resale; the photograph belongs to the Fort Collins Museum. All responsibility for questions of copyright liability and release violations that may arise in the use made of reproduced material is assumed by the user. Any photographic or digital copies of material in our collections must be credited as follows: "Courtesy Fort Collins Museum" followed by the photographer or artist if known. Two complimentary copies of any book, article, menu, etc. in which the Museum's photographs are used shall be donated to the Museum. All orders must be paid in advance. The Archive accepts cash and checks (made out to Fort Collins Museum) and major credit cards.
