Description	Black and white photograph of the Latta mill race. The earliest documented date for a sawmill in the Fort Collins area is 1863. In that year John Latta established a sawmill on the north bank of the Poudre River and about two miles upstream from La Porte. This 1991 photo shows the mill race.
