DescriptionBags of wool on the Akin Sheep Farm. In World War II, the army bought sheepskin jackets for Aviators. We were directed to sheer the feeder lambs and then send them to market for slaughter in six weeks. By then the wool would have grown out to the right depth for the specified jackets.
