DescriptionChannel 9 News helicopter crashes: Rescuers search the icy waters of Horsetooth Reservoir, the site where a Channel 9 News helicopter crashed just before noon Wednesday. Pilot Peter Peelgrane was rescued and two others we presumed dead after the chopper sank to a depth of 120 feet near Soldier Canyon Dam. Peelgrane was airlifted to Poudre Valley Hospital, where he underwent surgery Wednesday afternoon. He was reported in critical condition at press time. The two passengers apparently were not Channel 9 employees but were believed to be aircraft maintenance personnel. Fort Collins, Colorado
