DescriptionVeldon Finnell Family. The older gentleman on the left in the second row is Veldon Finnell. He was born in Nora Springs, Iowa, graduated from Waterloo High School in Iowa.In 1989 he was listed in the Fort Collins, Colorado City Directory as "Retired from the Coloradoan in 1972 after 42 years as a linotype operator (1930 - 1972). G. Louise Finnell listed as his spouse, both retired. As of August 5, 1991, Mrs. Finnel was still listed in Fort Collins. Veldon resided at 598 Laporte Avenue. Other Finnell's identified are Maryetta (widow of Clarence) living at 129 1/2 North Sherwood, A son; Larry M. & Patricia J. Finnell, living at 1804 Orchard and Grandson Mark, born 1958.
