DescriptionBlack and white photograph of a railroad car. On the side of the car it reads "D & RG W (Denver and Rio Grand Western) Kitchen and Diner" in the center and "B & B (Bridge and Building) 0252" on either end. On the back of the photograph in black ink is a description of the history of the car - "D & RG W 0252 work train car for Bridge and Building Dept. in Durango, Colo. Mar. 1950 3' Gauge Old Narrow Gauge Pullman - note paired windows - used as coach on DB & W (Denver, Boulder, and Western) until about 1919 - sold to Morse Bros. who sold it to Western Union - W.U. used it as line car until 1933 when they sold it to R.G. Truck have "Pullman Company" on them". Alos there is a black stamp on the back of the photograph that reads "John W. Maxwell 1670 Clermon St. Denver 7, COLO.
