"This Indenture, made the fourteenth day of December in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and eight two between Abraham LaFever of the County Grand and State of Colorado, parties of the second part; Witnesseth, that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred Dollars, ____ ____ of the United States of America, to them in hand paid by the said parties of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged , has granted, bargained, sold, remised, released, and forever quit-claimed, and by these presents do you grant, bargain, sell, remise, release and forever quit-claim, unto the said part the of second part, and to their heirs and assigns......(lots of illegible script)." On the back of the photo is "See Looking Back by John B. Crosby, p 88." written in black ink. |
