DescriptionMrs. Adelia Davis of 231 S. Howes. Inscription on back of photo: " I am the first woman registered pharmacist in Fort Collins. Came in 1929 from the D.Y.(?) Butcher Drug Store in Colorado Springs to the Collinado Drug Store where I was assistant manager and later manager for 18 years and was 11 years at the Walgreen's Drug Store retiring in 1960. Not caring for retirement [I] spent 6 years at the Colorado State University as Resident Director of Green Hall and later Parmelee Hall. Am an active member in Luata(?) club and International Service Club for women, serving as District Foreman in 1952. Aso 50 year member of Chi Omega and was one of the founders of the Chi Beta Chapter of Chi Omega on the C.S.U. Women's Association, the Women's Club of Fort Collins and the Pioneer Association. Myron Preston Davis is director of Educational Media of Colorado State University and with his wife Marilyn and sons Jay(?) and Louis(?) reside on Fort Collins. My Daughter, Ruth, passed away in Phoenix, Arizona, November 1986.
