DescriptionView of Stout, Colorado in Spring Canyon. Building on right is Stout Post Office, on left is grocery store and boarding house - Green Gables, Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Geary, Sr. were owners. Most of the Stout buildings were sold and moved; and some demolished when Horsetooth Reservoir, a part of the Colorado-Big Thompson project, was built 1946-1949. Some of the buildings' remains are still under the reservoir.
