Fort Collins in the 1940s

Doug Ernest, 2011

In early 2011, Fort Collins Local History Archive volunteer Doug Ernest researched and wrote the following historical context and architecture information for the decade of the 1940s in Fort Collins. Though not part of the original project undertaken in 1991 by the Historic Preservation Resources Program, this information is intended to serve as a continuation of the Fort Collins History and Architecture research that covers Euro-American Exploration and the Fur Trade to Post World War I and Urban Growth.
